Engineering services
I take on engineering work for other companies. I design and build things, advise teams and management, and run projects from the first sketch to the finished result. You deal with me from the first email to the last file, and every job is priced on its own.
What you can hire me for
Design and build
A part, a mechanism, a tool or a piece of software that has to exist and has to work. I design it, build it, test it until it holds up, and hand it over with the files.
Advice for your team or your management
A second opinion on a design, a plan or a decision: where it is likely to fail, what it will really take, and what I would do instead. My background is in safety and security, and in hands-on full-stack engineering.
Running the project
Someone who owns the work from the first sketch to the finished result: the plan, the testing and the people involved, with updates you can act on.
What that looks like: Mechams
Mechams is my own product and the clearest example of how I work. I wanted multi-colour printing on a Bambu Lab A1 without paying for a box of motors, so I designed a fully printable mechanism that runs on the printer's own movement.
Getting there meant building it, finding where it failed and redesigning it. Version 2 is lighter than the first, easier to route, quicker and more reliable, and the body prints without supports. People now build it on their own printers.

How a job runs
Tell me what you're working on
What it is, what it has to do and when you need it. A sketch, a photo or a rough list is enough to start.
I reply within one to three business days
With questions, or with a first take on how I would approach it.
You get a price for the job
One price for the agreed result, before any work starts.
I do the work myself
You hear from me as it goes, and you get the result and the files at the end.
